 We are pleased to remind you of the deadline schedule of the 9th
International Conference on the Structure of Surfaces (ICSOS-9), which will
take place in Salvador, Brazil, 3-8 August, 2008. At present, invited talks
have been confirmed by the following speakers. There will be several more to
come.

We are now four weeks from the abstract submission deadline.

The deadlines for ICSOS-9 are:

                        Abstract submission: 9 March, 2008

                        Early registration: 15 April, 2008

                        Nomination for ICSOS Surface Structure Prize: 9
March, 2008

                        Application for ICSOS Young Scientist Prize: 9
March, 2008

Abstract submission and registration should be performed on-line by
accessing the conference web page. An abstract template (MS-WORD format) is
available. The abstract file must be converted into PDF format for
submission. Please, adhere strictly to the template format.
